baby bird baby shower - part 2

To continue on from yesterday's post {here}, I wanted to share some more pictures from the baby shower I hosted this past weekend.  Here are a few more pictures of the food table...

The quality of this picture is not so great but it gives you an idea of some of the paper decorations in the living room.  To dress the windows up a little bit, I made a banner using scrapbook paper that I cut into triangles and strung on ribbon.  The white round paper decorations are from Party City.

Here is a close-up of the banner.  I simply used a hole punch at the top of each triangle and strung the ribbon through the holes (4 holes per triangle).

For party favors, I made a candy bar in the color scheme of most of the decorations.  The candy bins and scoops are from Party City.
I already had the three wooden frames hanging in the living room.  The pictures in them did not really match the theme of the baby shower so I made three signs for the candy bar in the color scheme of the rest of the decorations.

For the side table next to the couch, I added another birdcage and included a couple more pictures of the parents-to-be.  I bought the paper lantern wreath at Party City but thought there was too much space in between each lantern.  To add some more color to the garland, I cut onesies out of the rest of the scrapbook paper and pinned them onto the ribbon with some small blue clothespins I found at Party City.

Here is a close-up of the side table.  The three birds in the nest are from Michael's.

Last but not least, I added some additional paper decorations to the fireplace.  I got the "Oh Boy" printables from Paging Supermom and just printed out an extra "boy" to change the term a little.  You can get the printables {here}.  All I had to do was print the templates out on some card stock and cut them out to size.  To tie into these decorations, I used the shape of these signs for the background of all the signs throughout the baby shower (for instance, the candy bar signs above).  This fireplace was my favorite decoration from the baby shower.
