san juan capistrano mission...

As I mentioned in {this post} last week, I hosted a baby shower this past weekend.  The baby shower went well and I think the parents-to-be were happy with how everything turned out.  They are such a great couple so I wanted to make sure they had a great baby shower!  I have not had a chance to upload or edit the pictures but I promise I will share some soon!

As for the rest of our weekend.  Since today was such a nice day, we went to visit the San Juan Capistrano Mission.  It was nice to visit a piece of California's history and I was pleasantly surprised that it was so busy on a random Sunday in January.  Of course, the gardens and walkways were beautiful.

All the wood doors and beams everywhere were amazing as well.

Visiting the Mission reminded me how much I love Spanish style.  The spaces always seem so warm and inviting.  For instance, check out these Spanish style inspired homes....
